Don't choose the Green pill

Well last night I had my first near heart attack with super scuby. I was poking around under the dash looking for the connector to troubleshoot the airbag light that has been on since I took ownership. Thanks to my astute observation I notice that there was a green single wire connector disconnected. So naturally I stuck that bugger back together as one would think it should be. Once I was done poking around I turned on the old girl and to my shock found the check engine constantly light flashing like a nudist at the bay to breakers race. So I did what any modern day shade tree mechanic dose and went straight to google to search the may Subaru forums. As I proceeded to read I keep seeing statements like, "don't drive the car or it will explode on you" so this is about when the blood pressure began to rise. Then I found my saving grace on one forum. On there was another poor soul with the same problem as mine and after a few posts of the typical, don't drive car with destroy it's self one super smart Subaru dude chimed in and ask if he had connected the green plug under the dash. Apparently the little green plug is NOT to be together. The only time it's matted is if one is try to do some super advanced diagnostics on the scubys. So moral of tonight's story is that like a Shakespeare play not all parts are to be matted together.
